President and CEO of CSA Group, Ash Sahi appointed Magali Depras as Vice President - Europe Region in February. Depras will be based in Frankfurt, Germany and is responsible for all European Operations, partners and Europe-based employees. In addition, she joined the Board of Directors of the CSA - CCIC Joint Venture to leverage European customers who have operations in China.
"Magali brings more than 20 years of European business experience and an impeccable track record in business development that will be instrumental in extending CSA Group's regional and global service offerings for our European clients," said Ash Sahi, President and CEO of CSA Group. "Magali's leadership skills, sales and marketing expertise will serve as invaluable assets as CSA Group expands its current testing and certification services in HazLoc, medical, photovoltaic and other programs in Europe."
Depras comes to CSA Group with previous responsibilities for a $200 million European business at Brødrene Hartmann A/S. Over the past 20 years, Magali managed their sales and marketing departments. Her last role was Chief Commercial Officer and Member of Executive Board, where she was responsible for global sales, marketing and product development strategies.
Ms. Depras holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from IAE Paris Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Lille, and a number of other degrees. She speaks, German, French, Italian, English and Danish.
