The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has enhanced testing and verification requirements for ENERGY STAR® products. The New EPA requirements now require third party certification and verification for products eligible to bear the ENERGY STAR mark. In addition, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has also expanded the scope of products subject to third party energy efficiency verification for sales in Canada.
